Product Overview

The Socket Head Screw is a mechanical fastener. It is a type of cap screw. It has a cylindrical socket head and an internal hexagonal drive hole. It is used in various assemblies and hardware components and handles in a wide range of medical equipment. It is made of stainless steel which is highly corrosion resistant such that it performs efficiently in the corrosive environment and also resists the scaling at elevated temperatures. Hence, it is considered safe to use in medical equipment like anesthesia delivery systems, where oxygen enriched gases are circulated through the breathing circuit, which can be corrosive. The high strength and hardness properties make it resistant to any external damage, thus improving its life and making it reliable. It is of high advantage in applications where space is limited and when the clearance is not sufficient for a wrench to screw or unscrew it.
