Features

  • Strong & Lightweight
  • Self sufficient, no holes, welds, rivets required
  • Removable & Reusable
  • Fast assembly over panel edges

Product Overview

This "U" type speed clip fasteners snap easily over metal, plastic or wooden panels providing a strong clamping action for firm, vibration free assembly. These are self-sufficient requiring no holes, screws, welds, rivets or other secondary fastening devices. The clips are low cost, removable, reusable requiring only the simplest assembly procedure. Turned up lead lips on one or both legs allows fast assembly over the panel edges. This clip is equipped with barb on leg for positive retention of the panel. Due to its design, it can be used to clamp or hinge panels together, provide a removable spring catch, apply spring tension on fragile surfaces, secure light components within cavities etc. Fastening applications for these heat treated, spring steel speed clips are only limited by imagination. This clip is used in the RFX 90/90, Monitrol 90-15, basic table assemblies etc. of GE's Precision 500D X-Ray systems.
