Product Overview
A gear is a rotating machine part having radially projecting cut teeth on a circular disk which mesh with another toothed part to transmit torque. Geared devices can be used to change the speed, torque, and direction of a power source. This Spur Gear is made up of Aluminum 2024-T4 material which possesses high strength to weight ratio, good fatigue resistance. The 0.437 inchwide gear has 0.187 inch face width with 84 teeth. The gear comes with a 0.500 inch hub with shaft bore of 0.2501 inch diameter through which it can be attached to the shaft. The shaft and gear can be firmly joined using the provided #6-32 size set screw on the hub. The teeth of this gear can mesh with all gears having the same shape. This anodized aluminum gear assembly is compatible for use in the assemblies of Precision Basic Table which are used with GE's X-Ray Systems. The item will be shipped in suitable packaging to give adequate protection during transit.
