Product Overview
This external axial inverted retaining rings are a variation of axially assembled rings in which the lug holes are inverted to fit in the bottom of the groove. The inverted lugs allows greater clearance on a shaft and forms a higher uniform shoulder good for retaining bearings and other components with large corner radii or chamfers. This ring can be easily installed by separating the lugs using a special plier with tips on the end and then released into a groove. The resulting shoulder of the ring retains a assembly. This ring is made up of high quality stainless steel which offers an extra strength, good creep resistance, excellent fatigue properties, corrosion resistance, capable of preventing atmospheric oxidation at temperatures up to 1000° F and have minimum distortion upon heat treatment. These retaining rings are compatible to use in GE's X-Ray Systems. This product will be shipped with proper packaging with adequate protection during transit.
