Product Overview
The Brass Flat Washer is intended to use with Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems (MRI). The washers are placed under the head of a bolt or above a nut to distribute clamping force and prevent fasteners from pulling through materials. It has extra-wide bearing size for screw heads, thereby eliminating the need for patching holes. The product is made up of Brass, which is an alloy of copper and zinc. It is durable, nonmagnetic and conductive, thus makes it best suited for medical applications. The presence of the centrally located hole in washers allows a fastener to pass through it easily onto the other side. They are used to protect the surfaces from damage by offering space between the surface and fastener. And also used to smooth out uneven surfaces before a fastener is inserted into the surface. This product is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability. The GE product is an innovation and a state of the art technology which fits well into versatile customer needs. It is securely packed inside high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit.
